Our Drilled Shaft Wall System provides durable and reliable fascia panels for you project where reinforcement straps are unable to be used due to design constraints. Our system provides an efficient and timely installation, which in turn saves time and money on your project.
Our drilled shaft wall system is typically used for new construction projects and in "cut-wall" situations where excavation for a reinforced soil mass is not feasible. Cast-in-place concrete drilled shafts are constructed inline with the wall area. Fascia panels are the erected in front of the drilled shafts using the Tricon proprietary connection system. A concrete closure pour is cast between the fascia panels and the drilled shafts as the fascia panel wall is erected.
Further, where drilled shafts are unable to be used, our Soil Nail Fascia Panel Wall System is typically used. This allows for construction on existing project that are in need of repair and where a reinforced soil mass is not feasible. Soil nails are drilled and grouted into the embankment and then temporarily stabilized. Fascia panels are then erected in front of the embankment face and connected to the soil nails using the Tricon connection system. A concrete closure pour is cast between the fascia panels and the embankment as the fascia panel wall is erected.
